Rural Industry
North east Hampshire has a longstanding reputation for the variety and excellence of its natural produce, ranging from watercress to woodland products and from beef to bread. Farming and forestry remain at the heart of the rural economy. The Loddon & Eversley Project will actively promote rural industry and sees it as central to achieving long term conservation objectives in the area, but these activities need to be carried out in a way that is sensitive to the environment and wildlife.
You can help our countryside and wildlife by buying local produce.
