Wildlife and Heritage Trails Project
Thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund a new project begun in May 2008. The project aims to encourage more people to explore the countryside around the Loddon and Eversley heritage area and learn about the heritage and wildlife on our doorstop. A booklet of walks will be produced for the spring of 2010, including lots of interesting facts and photographs about the countryside and how it has changes through the years. Local communities will get the opportunity to suggest what they think should be included in the booklet. This may be a well know landmark, a forgotten piece of Hampshire history or a particular species that is often seen in the area.
Open meetings are being held to give you the opportunity to find out more about the project and put your suggestions forward. Details are as follows:
